State Association Plays an Integral Role in Shaping PEO Industry in the Region 

Oakland NJ - October 2003 - Compensation Solutions, one of the tri-state area's leading Professional Employer Organizations (PEO), recently announced that its President and CEO Thomas J. Cioffe was reelected President of the New Jersey Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NJAPEO).

NJAPEO represents over 25 PEOs in our state, servicing more than 4,000 small businesses with over 75,000 co-employees. Our member firms provide numerous valuable services to both the small business community and the constituents of New Jersey and its surrounding states. Members of our association must comply with rigorous standards and a professional code of ethics. NJAPEO members assure that their small business clients are in compliance with the many regulations that are imposed by federal, state and local governments. The association has been deeply involved in the regulatory process during the past several years, providing insight into our industry, furnishing data and promoting state oversight.  We assist our members in meeting our goal of strict adherence to governmental regulations.  Further, we have regularly met with various regulatory bodies for the purpose of establishing mutually beneficial channels of communication and have recently passed a PEO regulatory bill codifying the PEO industry in the state.  Current and past presidents of NJAPEO, as well as the entire board of directors, serve as volunteers, whose mission is to promote this young and growing industry.
